So many take for granted when they give their opinion. The ability to voice one's opinion, and not be carted away into prison, not have storm troopers visit you in your bed, and whisk you away to a death camp or Siberia, and make your voice heard and known, was a hard won liberty.
Millions, not thousands, millions enjoy no such liberty or freedom.
Once won, this power must never be relinquished. It must remain a part of "we the people."
When Thomas Jefferson, statesmen, said "Opinion is Power",he really knew what he was talking about.
What men we had to help shape our country? How could any people be so fortunate? Know your founding fathers. Find out how truly, unspeakable human and great, these men were. Learn what they stood for, and how far they were willing to go to found this country of ours of which G_d Himself was the author. Blessings, Carol
